Pacific Rail Services is seeking a motivated and experienced Operations Shuttle Supervisor to oversee daily shuttle operations and lead a team responsible for the safe and efficient movement of customer vehicles throughout our facility.

This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing people, solving operational challenges, and maintaining high standards for safety, productivity, and customer service.

What You'll Do:
  • Lead and supervise daily shuttle operations.
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate workload, staffing, safety expectations, and operational goals.
  • Monitor vehicle inventory and ensure vehicles are moved safely and efficiently.
  • Oversee employee productivity and performance standards.
  • Assign work based on operational priorities and staffing levels.
  • Conduct safety observations and enforce company safety policies.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies and operational issues.
  • Perform operational audits and ensure compliance with procedures.
  • Coach, train, and develop team members.
  • Complete employee evaluations and performance documentation.
  • Coordinate with other departments to maintain workflow and meet customer expectations.

Qualifications:
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
  • Experience in automotive logistics, rail operations, transportation, warehousing, yard operations, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong leadership and employee management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and inventory management abilities.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to monitor productivity and adjust staffing as business needs change.
  • Experience conducting safety observations, audits, and employee coaching.
  • Basic computer proficiency and experience with operational tracking systems.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.
