Pacific Rail Services is seeking a motivated and dependable Hostler Mechanic to join our team in Pittsburgh. This is a part-time position offering flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work in a dynamic railroad and terminal environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs on hostlers and terminal equipment.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and complete preventative maintenance tasks.
- Ensure equipment is maintained in a safe and operational condition.
- Follow company safety procedures and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.
Qualifications:
- Mechanical experience required.
- Must provide your own tools.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
- Railroad, diesel, heavy equipment, or automotive maintenance experience preferred.
